Role Overview
As a Data & Analytics and Master Data Specialist in the DePuy Synthes division, you will be responsible for managing the accuracy, consistency, and quality of master data across multiple commercial systems. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders such as sales, IT, and compliance teams to uphold robust master data management processes aligned with international and regional governance frameworks including GDPR compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the integrity and maintenance of master data across diverse platforms, promoting consistency and accuracy.
- Design and implement data management frameworks that comply with data protection laws while supporting business goals.
- Identify opportunities to enhance data processes and lead projects introducing new consent models and system integrations.
- Create insightful analytical reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI and Excel to drive business decisions.
- Support the deployment of Master Data Management (MDM) systems, including testing, training, and data migration preparations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consolidated and accurate master data availability.
- Assist in the development and execution of programs and initiatives related to Data Governance and Master Data management.
- Contribute to various projects and operational processes within the data governance scope.
- Establish control mechanisms to maintain data quality through all data channels.
- Maintain commercial customer content, business glossaries, data integration, and lineage activities.
- Ensure alignment of data asset management and resolution processes with business requirements to maintain clean data.
- Model company values and leadership principles during everyday team interactions.
Additional Information
- Language requirement: English proficiency is mandatory.
- Travel: Approximately 10% travel is expected.
- Organizational context: Johnson & Johnson is in the process of spinning off its Orthopaedics business as a standalone entity named DePuy Synthes within 18 to 24 months, subject to regulatory and legal approvals. Upon completion, employment terms will transfer to DePuy Synthes policies and programs.
