Role Overview

Winaxis LLC is seeking a meticulous Data Analyst to join our data team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will oversee management of our master data, produce detailed reports, and resolve data-related problems. This position demands keen attention to detail, prior experience as a data analyst, and extensive knowledge of data analysis tools and database management.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer the master data set by creating, updating, and removing data entries.
• Manage user accounts and define user roles within data systems.
• Ensure the quality of imported data, collaborating with quality assurance personnel as needed.
• Initiate and retire data sets responsibly.
• Handle confidential information following company guidelines.
• Assist in report and analysis development.
• Design and maintain the reporting framework, encompassing data sources, security protocols, and metadata management.
• Support the data warehouse by identifying and refining reporting requirements.
• Contribute to projects aimed at improving data integrity and normalization.
• Evaluate, test, and help implement new or upgraded software solutions, participating in strategic system decisions.
• Generate reports spanning one or several systems.
• Troubleshoot issues in the reporting database environment and reports.
• Assess modifications and updates to source production systems.
• Provide training to end users on newly developed reports and dashboards.
• Offer expertise in data storage architectures, data mining techniques, and data cleansing processes.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Proven work experience as a data analyst or similar role.
• Capability to collaborate with stakeholders for risk assessment.
• Proficient in evaluating existing tools and databases and making software recommendations.
• Skilled at translating business needs into non-technical language.
• Extensive knowledge of methodologies and procedures for managing large-scale databases.
• Experience working with extensive data sets and relational databases.
• Familiarity with addressing standards and metadata protocols.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
