Data & AI Product Manager

About the Role

An established enterprise undergoing significant transformation in data and AI is looking to integrate smart decision-making into its key business functions. To further this goal, the organization is recruiting a Data & AI Product Manager who will partner directly with a specific business unit to lead the creation of data-driven and AI products that address critical business challenges. This position offers the rare opportunity to be embedded within a business unit rather than a central tech department, serving as the vital link between business leaders, tech teams, and AI engineers to deliver scalable AI solutions with measurable business benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete product lifecycle for multiple data and AI products.
• Collaborate closely with business leaders to pinpoint use cases where data, machine learning, Generative AI, and agentic AI can enhance decision-making, operational workflows, and overall business outcomes.
• Act as the business representative by converting strategic priorities into clear product roadmaps, defining business requirements, and planning delivery schedules.
• Partner with data scientists, AI engineers, software developers, and enterprise technology teams to establish product requirements, prioritize features, and steer AI solution development from ideation to deployment.
• Ensure products focus on user needs, efficiently utilize enterprise data, and comply with architecture, governance, and security standards.
• Regularly track product performance, adoption rates, and business impacts using data and feedback to guide product refinements and identify new opportunities.
• Promote AI adoption among stakeholders by educating them on emerging AI innovations and discovering new applications involving predictive analytics, Generative AI, AI copilots, and intelligent agents.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience delivering data-driven or AI-enabled products in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating complex business challenges into scalable technology solutions.
• Solid understanding of AI and data technologies, such as machine learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI copilots, and agentic AI; deep hands-on engineering expertise is not mandatory.
• Experience operating in agile product management contexts, including defining roadmaps, prioritizing backlogs, and managing cross-functional delivery teams.
• Preference for candidates with backgrounds in financial services, technology, consulting, or other data-centric sectors who have successfully embedded AI products within business units.
• Strong communication skills, stakeholder management abilities, and commercial insight.
• A passion for leveraging AI to solve authentic business problems.
