About the Role
Our client is looking for an innovative Cybersecurity Policy & Regulations Manager to lead and influence the organisation's enterprise-wide security compliance and posture. This role involves formulating and overseeing cybersecurity policies, standards, and controls aligned with major regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR/NIS2.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and govern cybersecurity policy, standards, and control frameworks across the enterprise.
- Ensure adherence to global regulations and industry best practices.
- Coordinate and manage both internal and external audits as well as regulatory engagements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to IT, Security, Legal, and Privacy teams on risk management, compliance, and remediation tactics.
- Lead initiatives to raise awareness, conduct training, and drive continuous improvement in compliance practices.
- Monitor and present compliance metrics regularly to senior leadership.
Candidate Profile
- At least 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or auditing functions.
- Extensive knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, and ITIL.
- Proficient in IT controls, regulatory compliance procedures, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, critical analysis, and effective communication.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, or CPA are advantageous.
