Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst with at least 2 to 3 years of experience to aid in cybersecurity risk assessments, identification of threats, and mitigation efforts within a regulated industry setting. The successful candidate will conduct security evaluations aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and contribute to building and sustaining a risk-focused cybersecurity program. Key responsibilities include ensuring the implementation of robust security controls to safeguard organizational systems, information, and technology assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cybersecurity assessments following the NIST Framework guidelines.
• Implement and monitor security technologies and products to protect organizational information systems.
• Design and maintain a risk-centric cybersecurity program compliant with regulatory standards and consistent with top information security practices.
• Identify potential threats and apply mitigation strategies leveraging advanced security controls and tools.
• Assist leadership in formulating strategies, policies, and standards to secure corporate data and technological resources.
• Utilize technical expertise to defend the organization's assets from cyber threats.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience performing risk-based cybersecurity assessments.
• Hands-on expertise with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Demonstrated ability in threat identification and mitigation within a risk-based cybersecurity approach.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity.
