Role Purpose
The Crew Coordinator will oversee the mobilization process for seafarers of designated nationalities, liaising closely with training centers and medical providers as needed. This role involves maintaining communication with seafarers to ensure smooth and timely mobilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate timely processing of visas and all necessary joining formalities.
- Ensure completeness, authenticity, and verification of all pre-joining documentation in compliance with requirements.
- Oversee pre-joining preparations, including certifications, training courses, tests, and medical examination appointments.
- Maintain regular contact with seafarers during leave and mobilization phases.
- Coordinate training enrollments as required.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date records in ShipSure Crewing system, including document uploads.
- Manage flag state document applications and corresponding control processes.
- Provide administrative support to Crew Cell team members.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the Crew Supply Manager to ensure efficient office operations.

Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of a Vocational Diploma, Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor’s/College Degree in any discipline.
- Proficient computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with diverse levels of personnel.
- High attention to detail and conscientious work approach.
- Excellent oral and written communication capabilities.
- Good understanding and sensitivity to cultural diversity.
- Strong organizational and planning competencies.
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a similar capacity, ideally within the Subsea, Marine, or Offshore Construction sectors.
