Role Overview
We seek a nurturing and enthusiastic Crèche Assistant to join our vibrant hospitality team. You will be responsible for providing a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for children while their parents use the club’s facilities. Your duties include welcoming children and their families, facilitating fun and stimulating play activities, keeping detailed records, and assisting with age-appropriate tasks. Working closely with the Crèche Manager, you’ll help maintain a tidy facility, contribute to new initiatives, and foster trust with parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure children are happy, safe, and cared for while in the crèche.
- Lead and supervise stimulating play and learning activities for varying age groups.
- Maintain essential records, including attendance and safety logs.
- Support the implementation of new play initiatives and operational improvements alongside the Crèche Manager.
- Keep the crèche area clean, organised, and free from hazards at all times.
- Communicate warmly and professionally with parents, responding to their concerns and providing updates as needed.
Experience & Skills
- Preferably qualified with NVQ Level 2 in Children and Young Persons Workforce or an equivalent childcare qualification.
Schedule & Working Hours
- Our facility operates seven days a week between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.
- Shift patterns vary depending on business needs, including weekends, bank holidays, and occasional evening work for events.
- Specific crèche opening hours can be provided upon request.
