About the Role
We have an excellent opening for a Cooks Assistant at Jane Mander Retirement Village in Whangarei, Auckland. This is a full-time position with working hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday through Monday.
Key Responsibilities
- Support chefs in preparing nutritious, top-quality meals for residents.
- Assist with both preparation and presentation of food items.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Candidate Profile
- Holds or is willing to acquire the New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (Level 3).
- Demonstrated experience in food preparation roles.
- Reliable and professional with a friendly disposition.
- Strong commitment to food hygiene standards and maintaining a clean environment.
