Role Overview

As a Continuous Improvement Leader at Sealed Air, you will actively lead Lean transformation efforts within manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role is hands-on and based on the shop floor, involving direct coaching, training, and leadership of teams through Kaizen events. Your mission will be to embed Lean methodologies into everyday workflows to deliver improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost efficiency, and employee engagement that are enduring rather than transient.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain Lean manufacturing initiatives within plant operations.
• Coach operators, supervisors, and leaders in Lean principles and practices.
• Drive cultural shifts through practical, hands-on Lean implementation.
• Facilitate and lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops.
• Standardize Lean tools and methodologies consistently across different sites.

• Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
• Standardized Work
• Kaizen and Continuous Flow concepts
• Kanban and Supermarket Design principles
• Takt Time and Production Flow management
• SMED / Quick Changeover techniques
• 5S and Visual Management systems
• Error Proofing (Poka-Yoke)
• Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)

Measurement and Impact

• Develop and sustain Lean project tracking and reporting mechanisms.
• Quantify and clearly communicate the financial benefits derived from Lean initiatives.
• Ensure Lean improvements are consistent and sustainable over time.
• Collaborate with global Continuous Improvement teams to exchange best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering disciplines preferred (Industrial, Chemical, Electrical).
• At least 5 years’ experience leading Lean initiatives in manufacturing environments.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to lead Kaizen events effectively on the production floor.
• Strong skills in facilitation, coaching, and change management.
• Ability to influence others without formal authority and engage frontline staff.
• Commitment to developing personnel and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $80,500 to $138,805 annually, complying with applicable pay transparency laws. Offers are determined considering education, experience, and internal equity. The role may be eligible for annual bonuses and incentive programs. Additionally, the benefits package includes health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and wellness-related benefits.
