Job description
Position Overview
This role presents an exciting blend of business development, account management, and strategic relationship cultivation. The successful candidate will engage with organisations from diverse industries, driving new business growth while reinforcing existing client connections and fostering positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strong and positive relationships with a portfolio of significant clients.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans targeting the North Island.
- Build and sustain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Enhance long-standing relationships with key client stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Prepare compelling proposals, tenders, and presentations demonstrating our service value.
- Seek opportunities to broaden existing client partnerships.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure excellent client service delivery.
- Represent the company at networking events and participate in industry forums.
- Stay informed on market trends and identify emerging avenues for growth.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in business development, account management, or client relationship management.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills capable of influencing stakeholders across all levels.
- Strong knowledge of ACC's Accredited Employer Programme (AEP), including key criteria and organisational requirements.
- Capacity to guide clients on best practices for AEP and pinpoint opportunities to enhance their programs.
- Proactive and self-driven with the ability to independently manage a sales pipeline.
- Well-developed organisational skills to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining excellent client service.
- Experience in drafting business proposals, presentations, and development plans.
- Effective negotiation, problem-solving skills, and a talent for relationship building.
- Possession of a valid New Zealand driver's license and readiness to travel extensively across the North Island.
