About the Role
As a Cleaning Operative, you'll play an essential part in creating and sustaining a sanitary and pleasant environment throughout the premises. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all designated areas are thoroughly cleaned, well maintained, and presentable at all times. Your efforts will contribute to the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of everyone who uses the facility.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine and detailed cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting surfaces, sanitizing touch points, cleaning restrooms and kitchens, descaling fixtures, and cleaning interior windows.
- Dispose of rubbish and recyclable materials correctly and efficiently.
- Monitor and restock supplies including soap, toilet paper, and paper towels as required.
- Operate and care for cleaning equipment according to maintenance standards and guidelines.
- Comply strictly with health and safety standards and use chemicals as per COSHH instructions.
- Immediately report any maintenance requirements or hazards to the supervisor.
- Cooperate with colleagues for the efficient completion of cleaning schedules.
- Conduct ongoing inspections to ensure all areas continually meet cleanliness standards.
Working Pattern
You will be working Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 6:30 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break each shift.
