Role Summary

The Cleaner position is a crucial team role responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards across our office premises. Reporting to the Facilities Services management, you will be assigned various cleaning duties throughout the office environment, including break areas and washrooms, adhering strictly to manual handling and COSHH health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning tasks such as emptying bins, vacuuming, mopping floors, and dusting both high and low surfaces.
• Operate cleaning machines including buffers and carpet cleaners.
• Conduct cleaning across all office areas, including washrooms.
• Replenish supplies and stock as needed.
• Follow directions from the Facilities Services management team for specific cleaning assignments.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with buffer machines and carpet cleaning equipment preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations is essential.

Working Hours

This is a full-time role, typically working Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 17:00.
