About the Role

Royal York Property Management, a top property management company in Canada overseeing numerous residential rental properties in Ontario, seeks dependable and detail-focused Cleaners to expand their cleaning team. This position involves thorough cleaning services including move-in and move-out, vacant property turnovers, and routine housekeeping at occupied residences. Candidates will independently travel to sites and must uphold high company cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct move-in and move-out cleaning for residential rental units
• Perform comprehensive turnover cleaning for vacant apartments and homes
• Deliver regular housekeeping in currently occupied homes as necessary
• Thoroughly clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, flooring, and common areas
• Execute detailed tasks such as cleaning baseboards, interiors of cabinets, and appliances
• Utilize a mobile app to view assignments, follow instructions, use GPS navigation, upload photos, and update task status
• Review and ensure cleaning quality meets company benchmarks prior to departure
• Report any property damages, maintenance issues, or cleaning challenges
• Drive to different cleaning appointments using personal vehicle

Requirements

• At least two years of professional cleaning experience paid
• Ability to perform both move-in/move-out cleaning and ongoing housekeeping tasks
• Own a reliable vehicle for appointment travel and carrying cleaning materials
• Provide own cleaning supplies and equipment necessary for residential cleaning jobs
• Possess an appropriate smartphone to run the company's mobile work application, including GPS, photo capture, instructions reading, and status updates
• Comfortable cleaning detailed areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, floors, baseboards, cabinets, and appliances
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed cleaning protocols
• Proficient in basic English communication
• Dependable and punctual with ability to meet arrival times verified by GPS
