Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-focused Cleaner to service residential rental properties, executing tasks such as move-in and move-out cleans, turnover cleaning, and preparing homes for listing. Our client is a comprehensive leasing service utilizing proprietary technology to aid landlords in faster leasing, vacancy reduction, and applicant screening. They manage listings across MLS and over 20 platforms, handling all aspects from listing through to tenant move-in.

Key Responsibilities

• Visiting residential rental units to perform cleaning appointments including move-in, move-out, turnover, and listing preparation.
• Conducting thorough residential cleaning in line with company standards.
• Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures comprehensively.
• Eliminating dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and any leftover items as required.
• Wiping down surfaces including counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and high-touch points.
• Performing vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and floor cleaning tasks.
• Cleaning inside appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers.
• Spotting additional areas needing extra cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or follow-up before listings or move-ins.
• Capturing clear before-and-after photos and videos of the property and completed work.
• Providing detailed updates, notes, and documented media after each cleaning visit.
• Maintaining professional communication with landlords, applicants, tenants (where applicable), and internal teams.
• Adhering to company directives including cleaning checklists, access instructions, and appointment specifics.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in residential cleaning roles such as cleaner, housekeeper, contractor, or similar.
• Solid understanding of residential cleaning standards and expectations.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel between properties.
• Possession of necessary cleaning tools and supplies for each assignment.
• Comfortable working independently on-site.
• A modern smartphone with a high-quality camera (e.g., iPhone 13 or equivalent) for documenting work.
• Ability to take and submit clear photos and videos along with detailed written notes post-visit.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision required.
• Professional demeanor including punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow prescribed cleaning checklists and property access protocols accurately.
• Respectful communication skills with landlords, tenants, applicants, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specifically with move-in/out and rental turnover cleaning.
• Familiarity with preparing rental properties for photography, showing, inspections, and move-in readiness.
• Ability to identify property issues such as damages, maintenance needs, junk removal, pest problems, access complications, or unsafe conditions.
• Experience working independently in the field for property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services companies.
