What you will do

• Keep all areas of the pub clean, including customer spaces, toilets, the bar, kitchen, staff areas, and outside areas.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks in line with the standard procedures.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Track cleaning stock levels and inform the manager when supplies need restocking.
• Raise any maintenance or pest-control concerns with the manager on duty.
• Interact politely with guests, including greeting them and saying thank you and goodbye.
• Take part in induction, job-specific, and refresher training, while also contributing to ongoing improvements.

Training and progression

The company supports career growth through structured training on the job, apprenticeships, management academies, and cross-training across bar, kitchen, and hotel areas. There are also opportunities to move into team-leader and shift-leader positions over time.

Working pattern

This is an early-morning cleaning role with shifts that can include mornings, evenings, weekends, and late finishes. The stated schedule is 8 hours per week, with shifts shown for Monday 6:30 to 8:30, Tuesday 6:30 to 8:30, Wednesday 7:00 to 9:00, Thursday 6:30 to 8:30, Friday 7:00 to 9:00, Saturday 7:00 to 9:00, and Sunday 7:00 to 9:00.
