About the Role
The position is structured around a shift pattern of four days working followed by four days off, then four nights working followed by another four days off. As a Cleaner at OCS, you will be essential in maintaining hygienic and safe environments to enable customers to operate effectively in their workplaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of workspaces, including floors and communal areas.
- Performing physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods while vacuuming carpets, sweeping, mopping where necessary, emptying waste bins, and potentially cleaning washrooms.
- Engaging with customers when cleaning in public or day/night open spaces by addressing their queries related to cleaning or reporting incidents and issues.
- Fulfilling all required Health & Safety documentation and participating in mandatory training sessions.
Candidate Requirements
- Legal entitlement to work in the UK is essential.
- Possession of a smartphone is mandatory to operate the Timegate Time and Attendance system for clocking in/out and recording cleaning tasks.
- Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but not mandatory as full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in task completion.
