Role Overview

Reporting to the CEO, this leadership role involves spearheading the integration of AI across Foodhub's software platforms, leading engineering teams, and driving the company's international growth. This is an opportunity for a seasoned CTO or a leader ready to step into this strategic position, focusing on solving complex technological challenges and shaping intelligent restaurant software.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global technology strategy aligned with business objectives and growth ambitions.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and executives to define long-term company and innovation strategies.
• Assure technological capabilities facilitate scalability, robustness, and provide competitive advantages.
• Monitor emerging industry trends and technologies to inspire innovation.
• Oversee design, development, and deployment of Foodhub’s core platforms, products, and services ensuring they are scalable and reliable across global operations.
• Promote software development best practices, architecture quality, and engineering excellence.
• Partner with product and commercial units to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Build, lead, and expand a talented global engineering and technology team fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous growth.
• Enhance leadership capabilities in engineering across regions and retain top technical talent.
• Manage global technology infrastructure focusing on performance, scalability, uptime, cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance.
• Implement advanced DevOps, cloud, and monitoring processes; maintain robust technical governance and risk management.
• Champion data-driven decision-making and oversee data architecture, analytics, and platform connectivity.
• Promote automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Lead scalable process development, tools implementation, and technology transformation projects to support growth.
• Align global teams and systems to operational needs effectively.
• Manage technology budget prudently ensuring investments yield strong returns; oversee third-party vendor relationships and optimize costs.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated CTO or senior tech leadership experience in large, global firms.
• Preferably, direct experience within the food ordering, hospitality tech, marketplace, or POS/EPOS sectors.
• Strong expertise in building high-availability, customer-facing platforms at scale.
• Proven ability to lead distributed engineering teams across multiple geographies.
• Deep knowledge in modern software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and scalable systems design.
• Track record of leading technology transformations and fostering innovation.
• Insight into cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience aligning tech strategies with commercial and operational goals.
• Excellent stakeholder management and board-level influencing capabilities.
• Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
