The role is responsible for turning company strategy into execution at store level, creating scalable systems, and keeping performance consistent as the company grows in current and new markets.
What you will do
- Develop regional and district leaders into stronger performers through regular coaching, store observation, feedback, and performance management.
- Own company-wide operating results across all sites while maintaining consistent standards for the brand, safety, and service.
- Establish a disciplined management rhythm with weekly reviews, district reviews, site visits, field coaching, and structured follow-up.
- Direct and hold accountable the Regional Directors of Operations and District Managers.
- Create a strong leadership pipeline by identifying high-potential talent and preparing succession plans for key field roles.
- Implement and monitor accountability tools for GMs and SAs, including scorecards and daily, weekly, and monthly execution tracking.
- Ensure all locations meet expectations for cleanliness, readiness of equipment, safety, customer experience, merchandising, and curb appeal through inspections and audits.
- Apply recognition and consequence standards consistently across store leadership.
- Work with Facilities to improve preventive maintenance, equipment uptime, repair cost control, and asset life.
- Partner with the CDO and CEO to convert strategy and growth plans into budgets, operating plans, and store priorities.
- Lead annual operating budget creation and monitor performance against targets.
- Drive adoption of new processes, systems, and operating standards across field teams.
- Analyze operational data to spot trends, allocate resources, remove execution barriers, and improve performance.
- Coordinate with Membership Sales leadership to support membership growth and lower churn, including developing GMs as daily sales coaches.
- Work cross-functionally with Development, HR, Finance, Facilities, Marketing, and Membership Sales leaders to align priorities.
- Oversee labor planning, staffing models, and workforce deployment across the network.
- Build and improve SOPs, training, and onboarding programs for GMs, DMs, and SAs.
- Create a culture of ownership, urgency, improvement, and accountability.
- Support site selection, new openings, and launch ramp-up in both new and established markets.
- Resolve escalated operational issues across markets as the final decision point for store execution.
- Assist executive leadership with board and investor reporting tied to operational performance.
Requirements

- At least 7 years of progressively responsible operations leadership experience, including multi-unit or multi-site oversight.

- Experience managing operations across multiple states or regions through a district or regional structure.
- Proven ability to build accountability systems, scorecards, or performance management processes for frontline and leadership teams.
- Experience leading through rapid growth, including new store launches and market expansion.
- Consistent success in developing managers and driving them to meet performance expectations.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across operating markets.
- Strong financial understanding, including P&L responsibility and labor cost control.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills with the ability to hold leaders accountable at every level.
