About the Role

As a Chef de Partie at Hilton, you will be the culinary expert responsible for your designated kitchen section, crafting delightful dishes that guests cherish. This role involves not only managing kitchen activities but also delivering warm, memorable hospitality that enhances each guest's experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare flavorful dishes by seasoning, cooking, and testing according to established recipes, ensuring consistent taste and visual appeal.
• Supervise the kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to line cooks, and stepping in during senior chefs' absence to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene by keeping workspaces tidy and preventing cross-contamination.
• Monitor the quality of ingredients, enforce proper storage practices, and manage stock rotation effectively.
• Contribute to cost control efforts to optimize food expenses and support departmental financial goals.
• Lead, motivate, and develop team members by monitoring performance, offering coaching, and fostering a positive work atmosphere.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations to safeguard the well-being of guests and staff.

Qualifications and Attributes

• High school completion with a minimum of three years’ experience in a five-star hotel or an upscale restaurant environment.
• At least one year working as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role within an international hotel brand; culinary technical education is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Western or Chinese cuisines, skilled in diverse cooking methods.
• Knowledge of seafood and meat processing, alongside standards for cooked food preparation, storage, and receipt.
