Role Overview
As a Catering Attendant in our Perth team, you will work full-time in a dynamic commercial kitchen environment, contributing directly to the preparation and stocking of meals for some of the leading airlines globally. Your role focuses on meal preparation, assembly, and ensuring all flight catering requirements are met with excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, and plate meals accurately according to visual presentation standards.
- Assemble meal trays in line with airline specifications and load them correctly into airline carts.
- Stock airline carts with packaged food items, beverages, and necessary equipment.
- Operate dishwashers to clean cutlery, crockery, and glassware, ensuring items are spotless and pristine.
- Adhere strictly to food safety protocols, workplace hygiene, and safety policies including HACCP, IFSA, and QSAI requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Must possess full and ongoing working rights in Australia.
- Capability to successfully complete pre-employment assessments including National Police Check and medical evaluations.
- Flexible to work shifts encompassing weekends and public holidays; able to stand for extended durations.
- Demonstrates strong dedication to safety, hygiene, and compliance standards.
- Team-oriented with willingness to assist and collaborate with colleagues.
- Effective communication skills and basic numeracy competence.
- Proficient in basic knife handling techniques relevant to the role.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP is advantageous.
