Cashiers also act as vigilant protectors of company assets, paying close attention to loss prevention.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcoming all customers with politeness and friendliness.
• Efficiently processing purchase transactions, including merchandise deactivation compliant with the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Promoting sponsored company initiatives such as store credit cards, product protection plans, and charitable campaigns.
• Helping customers package and load their purchased items.
• Adhering to safe working practices, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Safeguarding register security and integrity through careful cash handling, compliance with company policies, and alertness to surroundings.
• Directing customers to a Customer Service Manager for additional service or transaction needs.

Additional Details

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.15 CAD.
