Overview

Join Bluebird Care, a leading Home Care provider recognized for outstanding service, as a Careers Advisor supporting multiple locations including Winchester, Andover, Petersfield, and Burnham. This role offers a salary between £25,000 and £30,000 annually and provides expert training within a friendly team environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Promote fair and non-discriminatory recruitment and selection practices.
  • Respond to initial recruitment enquiries, sharing comprehensive information about careers within the organization.
  • Engage potential new recruits through effective questioning and active listening to understand their background and situation.
  • Collect and document applicant information accurately.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and communicate relevant details to candidates.
  • Manage pre-employment paperwork and organize necessary skills assessments.
  • Follow up to confirm interview bookings.
  • Maintain and regularly update the recruitment database.
  • Support the Authorising Officer by acquiring correct documentation for candidates requiring visa sponsorship.
  • Inform potential sponsored candidates about the sponsorship process and expectations.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and collaborate as an integral part of the Bluebird Care team.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven recruitment experience, ideally within Health and Social Care sectors.
  • Possession of or willingness to pursue a relevant social care qualification.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional telephone manner.
  • Competence in administrative duties and proficiency with computers.
  • Full driving license with no more than six penalty points, Class 1 business insurance, and a current MOT if using a personal vehicle for work purposes.
