Calibration Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Calibration Engineer with expertise in mechanical instrument calibration to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The candidate will be responsible for precise calibration of various measuring instruments to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Calibrate mechanical instruments including pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and torque wrenches with precision.
• Apply knowledge of NABL and ISO/IEC 17025 standards to maintain traceability and uphold calibration quality.
• Conduct accurate measurements, maintain detailed calibration records, and prepare official calibration certificates.
• Handle reference standards, dead weight testers, vernier calipers, micrometers, and similar measuring equipment effectively.
• Maintain comprehensive calibration logs and equipment history, ensuring strict adherence to QA/QC documentation requirements.
• Identify and diagnose instrument faults, recommending corrective measures to maintain instrument accuracy.
• Use basic MS Office applications and calibration management software for documentation and analysis purposes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience ranging from 6 months to 3 years in calibration or testing laboratory settings is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, effective communication, teamwork capabilities, and time management skills are essential.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary between 25,000 and 35,000 INR.
