Role Summary

We seek a friendly and energetic Café Assistant who believes in brightening days with excellent coffee and warm customer interactions. You will contribute to creating a warm, inviting atmosphere and work collaboratively with the Chef Manager and café team to deliver consistently enjoyable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, present, and serve food and beverages to high standards.
• Deliver exceptional barista services ensuring quality coffee preparation.
• Support catering for village events and resident functions.
• Manage cash handling and daily takings reconciliation accurately.

Working Hours and Start Date

• Two positions available: Sunday to Thursday, 9:30am to 3:30pm; and Friday to Monday, 9:30am to 3:30pm.
• Commencing on 21st September with 2.5 weeks of comprehensive full-time training and support.
• Interviews scheduled for late August.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in hospitality or café environments.
• Strong barista skills with attention to quality.
• Warm, approachable personality and excellent customer service capabilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
