Role Overview
Litmus7 is looking for a BY OMS Developer to work from Kochi, Kerala. This position is centered on enterprise order management and cloud-native microservices development, with a strong focus on eCommerce systems and third-party integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and support enterprise-grade microservices-based applications, with Java Spring Boot as the preferred stack.
- Work on order management system implementations and enhancements, especially in Blue Yonder, Manhattan Active Omni, Fluent Ecommerce OMS, or Sterling OMS environments.
- Design and integrate APIs and services using REST, JSON, GraphQL, and Swagger.
- Connect with external systems such as payment gateways, fraud detection tools, address validation services, and tax services.
- Develop solutions using cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with AWS experience given higher preference.
- Apply event-driven and reactive programming practices where suitable.
- Use cloud components such as API gateways, serverless functions, and messaging tools including Event Bus, EventBridge, Kafka, and Kinesis.
- Implement and work with caching solutions such as Spring cache, EhCache, or Redis.
- Contribute in Agile delivery environments and manage work through JIRA.
- Follow modern web technology practices and CI/CD-oriented development approaches.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 4 years of experience in eCommerce or OMS-related work.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder, Manhattan Active Omni, Fluent Ecommerce OMS, or Sterling OMS; OMS exposure is mandatory.
- Strong practical experience in enterprise microservices development.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS.
- Familiarity with cloud-native services and messaging ecosystems.
- Working knowledge of API design and integration patterns.
- Good understanding of retail business processes.
- Experience with distributed or in-memory caching approaches.
- Comfortable working in Agile teams using JIRA.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
Preferred Profile
Candidates with cloud-native project experience and exposure to integration layers using Kafka or Kinesis will have an added advantage, especially where message handling, payload transformation, and non-functional requirements are important.
Professional Skills
The role also requires the ability to work independently in an information systems environment, along with clear written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
