Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and recommendations on procurement and contractual matters across the Eastern Hemisphere.
  • Coordinate activities closely with UAE operations and warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Initiate vendor additions and establish Master Service Agreements (MSAs) for contractors.
  • Enforce and communicate company purchasing policies effectively.
  • Support project management teams and CANRIG with their procurement needs.
  • Manage catalog setup and oversight specifically for Saudi Arabia operations.
  • Train requestors in the iSupplier system to assist in Purchase Requisition preparations.
  • Review, renegotiate, and approve contracts and purchase orders in alignment with Statements of Authority (SOA).
  • Track local deliveries and ensure timely coordination for the Saudi market.
  • Close out unnecessary purchase orders for Saudi Arabia to maintain system accuracy.
  • Ensure monthly compliance with annual procurement goals.
  • Engage with new potential vendors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and update the sole vendor list accordingly.
  • Lead vendor negotiations to optimize terms and agreements.
  • Support and actively participate in achieving company-wide Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) objectives.
  • Perform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and quality goals while exercising authority within scope and escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain accountability for work accuracy, quality, and timeliness, and report any risks that may affect compliance, safety, environment, or customer satisfaction.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned to support operational effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 to 5 years industry-related work experience.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and a good professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Oilfield Service Industry.
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and Microsoft ERP systems.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI.
