Business Development Executive

Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic and goal-focused Business Development Executive to enhance merchant acquisition for the PayNearby UPI Cash Point platform. This role involves identifying and enrolling retail merchants, ensuring their full activation, and cultivating lasting merchant relationships while adhering to company protocols.

Core Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new retail merchants in the designated territory.
• Communicate advantages of the PayNearby UPI Cash Point solution to potential merchants.
• Educate merchants about business expansion and monetization opportunities.
• Meet assigned targets for merchant acquisition.
• Carry out digital KYC procedures and gather necessary documents.
• Support merchants during application setup and registration.
• Ensure seamless merchant activation and assist in completing their initial transaction.
• Install sanctioned branding and marketing materials at merchant sites to maintain brand visibility.
• Comply strictly with KYC and onboarding protocols to prevent fraudulent accounts.
• Capture GPS-stamped photos for merchant verification and maintain accurate onboarding documentation.

Qualification and Experience

• Graduation in any field.
• Between 1 to 5 years in field sales, merchant acquisition, fintech, banking, financial services, or assisted banking.
• Demonstrated merchant acquisition experience is essential.

Preferred Background

Candidates experienced with organizations such as Paytm (CSC), PhonePe (Premium Executive), Pine Labs, MSwipe, HDFC Corporate BC, Airtel Payments Bank, Spice Money, or Fino Payments Bank are preferred.

Skills and Requirements

• Proven merchant acquisition skills.
• Knowledgeable in digital onboarding and KYC documentation processes.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience managing a sales territory.
• Fluency in the local language.
• Possession of an Android smartphone and two-wheeler is mandatory.
