Business Analyst - CPQ Focus

About the Role

This position centers on e-commerce, quoting processes, and business process analysis within a challenging digital transformation landscape. The selected individual will merge robust business analyst expertise with practical experience in CPQ (Configure Price Quote) systems and digital commerce projects. Collaborating closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into actionable user stories, the role demands direct interaction with product, architecture, and engineering teams.

This role operates offshore and requires alignment with Australian/New Zealand business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth requirements gathering and discovery with business stakeholders.
• Transform business needs into comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Support digital commerce workflows, especially those linked to quoting and pricing.
• Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Delivery teams.
• Document business processes, integration points, and system interdependencies in detail.
• Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Identify risks, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement throughout project delivery.
• Serve as the liaison bridging technical and non-technical parties.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least four years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Digital Consultant in consulting or technology-focused organizations.
• Proven expertise with e-commerce platforms and digital customer journey mapping.
• Experience with quoting systems, CPQ, configuration, or pricing workflow management.
• Proficiency in drafting detailed user stories and functional requirements documentation.
• Experience operating within Agile delivery frameworks.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Demonstrated comfort working with geographically distributed or global teams.
