Role Overview
In this role within the Revenue and Billing function, you will collaborate closely with internal teams including Operations, Customer Excellence, and Implementations, while engaging regularly with leadership. You will be responsible for preparing complex invoices, performing detailed data analysis, supporting audit processes, and improving billing workflows in a fast-paced environment requiring autonomy and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed and complex client invoices for fulfillment and parcel services, incorporating extensive data analytics using advanced Excel tools like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Engage cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Customer Excellence, and Implementation teams to understand customer processes and align them with billing rate cards during onboarding.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships to efficiently resolve disputes and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain and update billing documentation regularly while recommending and implementing innovations to increase efficiency and optimize data management.
- Generate and present KPI reports to management, providing insights into billing challenges, revenue patterns, and operational metrics.
- Support internal and external audit requests related to billing processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- In-depth knowledge of 3PL operations, with strong familiarity of Warehouse Management and Order Management Systems data integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or data analytics preferred, or a minimum of five years experience in omnichannel, supply chain, parcel, or logistics industries, specifically in 3PL billing.
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formula creation for comprehensive data analysis; experience with Freshdesk, Salesforce, and NetSuite is advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical skills capable of handling large datasets for invoice preparation, discrepancy identification, and issue resolution.
- Excellent communication abilities, strong time management, and capacity to independently manage workload in a dynamic setting.
- Self-directed, highly organized, strategic thinker with a meticulous attention to detail.
