Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Barista position at the Surat location involves preparing and serving coffee, tea, and light food items according to established recipes and quality benchmarks. Responsibilities include taking customer orders, operating coffee machines, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, accurately handling cash and digital payments, and engaging guests with product knowledge to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Duties

• Prepare espresso-based drinks and other café beverages following standard recipes.
• Serve light food items while maintaining food hygiene and presentation standards.
• Interact professionally and courteously with customers and team members.
• Manage cash transactions and point-of-sale operations efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
• Support inventory replenishment and basic coffee equipment maintenance.
• Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills to provide professional and friendly interaction.
• Competency in barista tasks, including coffee machine operation and recipe adherence.
• Clear communication abilities for order taking and team coordination.
• Food preparation knowledge focusing on hygiene, portion control, and presentation.
• Physical ability to stand for long hours and thrive in a fast-paced café environment.
• Basic numeracy skills and experience handling cash; familiarity with POS systems advantageous.
• Hospitality or café experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
