Role overview
This position is for a barista within Marriott Hotels, supporting a premium hospitality environment where guest service, teamwork, and attention to detail are highly valued. The role combines coffee preparation with front-of-house service and general food-and-beverage support.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and present coffee and other beverages to a high standard using solid barista techniques.
- Support the restaurant service window by attending to guests and aiming to exceed expectations.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere by engaging guests throughout the full food and beverage experience.
- Keep the outlet clean and tidy, and complete all daily checklists carefully.
- Identify guest needs and consistently deliver excellent service.
- Work closely with the food and beverage team on day-to-day operational duties.
- Develop positive relationships with both returning and new guests, while anticipating future needs and bookings.
Candidate profile
- A current RSA certification is required.
- Prior experience in a similar hospitality role is expected.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.
