About the Role
The LEGO Group is seeking a motivated Associate Key Account Manager passionate about fostering business growth and establishing lasting partnerships with retail clients. This role involves leveraging commercial insight, strategic planning acumen, innovation, and collaboration to support one of the world’s most recognized brands in inspiring and developing future builders while ensuring sustainable growth for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth and strengthen partnerships with key customers, focusing on Grocery Channel accounts such as London Drugs, Dollarama, and Giant Tiger.
- Manage and nurture client relationships with full ownership and accountability.
- Develop and implement strategic, detailed commercial plans to ensure sustainable success.
- Prepare and execute operational business plans, collaboratively shaping overall strategies.
- Oversee in-store execution and uphold brand image standards through consistent visual presentation, product management, and marketing.
- Engage in negotiations related to business contracts and trading terms.
- Analyze sales data, customer performance scorecards, and detailed store analyses for actionable insights.
- Apply fundamental understanding of customer P&L, trade budgets, and ROI to enhance value-driven growth.
- Collaborate closely with Key Account team members, Trade Marketing, Operations, and Digital teams to share ideas and best practices.

Candidate Profile
- Proven background in Account Management, Demand Planning, or Customer Planning within multinational corporations; experience in drug or grocery retail is a plus.
- Strong commercial expertise in both physical retail and eCommerce sectors enabling continual business development.
- Strategic thinker capable of shaping responsibilities and delivering results.
- Curious, customer-focused, and driven with a solid record of performance.
- Able to embrace challenges, propose innovative solutions, and implement sales-driven initiatives that transform channels.
- Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and ability to build relationships through a mutually beneficial approach.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and planning to convert insights into sales-driving actions.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills.
Additional Information
Relocation: No relocation support is provided for this position.
Work Model: Hybrid arrangement with three days per week in the office to accommodate different life situations of employees.
Compensation: The annual salary ranges from 106255 to 156255 CAD, depending on factors such as experience, skills, and location. A bonus plan targets 17.5% of the base salary. Comprehensive benefits will be shared upon offer finalization.
