Position Overview
At Rosewood AMAALA, delivering exceptional experiences to guests starts with ensuring outstanding experiences for colleagues. The Associate Dining Supervisor is essential in managing a top-tier dining facility for employees that upholds the resort's high standards of luxury, care, and excellence. This role reports to the Talent & Culture team and is tasked with managing all aspects of the Associate Dining Facility (ADF) to promote colleague well-being, engagement, and satisfaction in one of the world's most exclusive and remote luxury destinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the employee dining facility, ensuring smooth service and outstanding dining quality.
- Maintain luxury hospitality standards aligned with the Rosewood philosophy in colleague dining services.
- Collaborate with Culinary, Stewarding, and Talent & Culture teams to provide diverse, nutritious, culturally inclusive meals.
- Ensure high standards of food presentation, freshness, quality, and consistent service across all meal times.
- Conduct regular health, safety, sanitation, and food hygiene inspections to enforce compliance.
- Lead and develop dining facility staff through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Collect and analyze colleague feedback to continuously improve dining options and service quality.
- Manage scheduling, staffing plans, and operational resources effectively to support smooth operations.
- Support employee engagement and wellness programs, including special events organized by Talent & Culture.
- Monitor inventory levels, maintain equipment, and manage supply stocks to prevent service interruptions.
- Prepare reports on operations, service quality, and suggestions for management review and improvements.
- Create and maintain a welcoming dining atmosphere that fosters employee satisfaction, retention, and well-being.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 to 4 years’ supervisory experience in employee dining, staff cafeterias, hotel food and beverage operations, or luxury hospitality settings.
- Experience working in remote areas, luxury resorts, integrated hospitality ventures, or pre-opening projects is highly valued.
- Strong leadership capabilities paired with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety practices, HACCP standards, and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to operate effectively within a diverse, multicultural workforce.
- Exceptional organizational skills with focus on detail and delivering service excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality management software systems.
