Job description
Role Overview
The Assistant Planning Manager will report directly to the Industrial Engineering (IE) Manager and will be an integral member of the existing IE team. This position is based in Ghana and requires working onsite.
Key Responsibilities
The primary focus is managing and continuously enhancing a capacity-based, machine-level production planning system that relies on both the factory's live ERP software and sophisticated Excel-based data analysis. The role aims to integrate core industrial engineering methodologies with planning functions to maximize workforce and machinery utilization, ensure precise workload distribution, minimize discrepancies between production planning and actual outcomes, and guarantee timely delivery of output.
Skills and Development
While collaborating closely under the supervision of the IE Manager, the Assistant Planning Manager will also progressively expand their own industrial engineering skillset and expertise over time.
