As an Asset Protection Representative, you will play a critical frontline role in retail security by protecting our stores, staff, and customers across grocery and pharmacy locations. Your vigilance and quick judgment will contribute to creating a safe shopping environment while combating theft and fraud in a high-volume setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional presence to actively deter theft, fraud, and violations of company policies within the store.
• Lawfully and safely detain offenders following company guidelines and legal procedures.
• Perform thorough investigations internally and externally, collecting and analyzing evidence, and collaborate with law enforcement as necessary.
• Work alongside store leadership to identify loss patterns and implement strategies that minimize shrinkage.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and relevant provincial regulations.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with a flexible schedule, quickly responding to varied challenges.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Possession of a valid Provincial Security Guard License and understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, and associated laws.
• Experience operating CCTV and other surveillance technologies, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Maintain a professional, approachable demeanor with excellent communication abilities.
• Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and a proactive approach to solving problems.
• Prior experience in grocery, pharmacy, or other high-volume retail sectors is advantageous.

Additional Important Information
