Area Sales Manager

Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis within the assigned territory, mainly focusing on the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés) segment. Key duties include appointing and leading HORECA distributors, expanding business relations across various sectors such as hotels, restaurants, caterers, hospitals, educational institutions, and corporate offices.

Responsibilities

• Drive business growth in the HORECA sector within your region.
• Recruit, guide, and oversee the performance of Sales Officers and PSRs.
• Conduct joint market visits regularly to ensure thorough route coverage and execution of sales strategies.
• Maintain product presence through availability, visibility, and the implementation of promotional campaigns.
• Keep close watch on competitor actions, pricing strategies, and industry trends to stay competitive.
• Manage timely collection of payments, ensuring receivables comply with company standards.
• Prepare and submit detailed sales reports and management information systems data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and reporting procedures.

Perks and Additional Information

Salary range is between 25,000 and 50,000 INR per month. The job is full-time and based onsite in Jalandhar, Punjab.
