Job description
Overview
We invite applications for an experienced Architectural Designer with 3 to 5 years of expertise to join our Ohio-based team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a sound technical background focused on multifamily and retail architectural projects, encompassing construction documentation and detailing.
Role Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation of architectural designs, detailed drawings, and comprehensive construction documents for multifamily and retail developments.
- Collaborate intimately with project architects, senior design staff, and consultants to uphold design intentions and ensure technical precision.
- Employ Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite tools for advancing design concepts, generating renderings, presentations, and documentation.
- Exhibit strong conceptual design skills by performing site analyses, preparing site and building schematic diagrams, conducting feasibility studies, and researching applicable codes and zoning to reinforce design choices.
- Coordinate effectively with engineers, contractors, and various stakeholders during all project stages.
- Engage in client consultations, design presentations, and construction administration activities as required.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related discipline.
- A professional track record of 3 to 5 years in architectural design coupled with construction documentation experience.
- Expertise with Revit, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Familiarity or skills in Enscape, Rhino, and Grasshopper will be advantageous.
- Experience working on multifamily residential and/or retail projects is preferred.
- A strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in team-oriented environments and communicate clearly and effectively.
