More than 120 Vicos, involving thousands of freelancers, are already delivering projects for enterprise brands such as BASF, Miele, Siemens, and Daimler, along with many SMEs. Forbes and Forrester have also recognized Vicoland as an important force in this market transformation.

The company’s SAP-certified platform supports the entire lifecycle of building and running Vicos, including marketing, finance, legal, and organizational operations. A major growth area is SAP services, covering everything from SAP S/4HANA programs to specialized SAP application modules. Vicoland is seeking an ambitious, commercially minded leader with SAP ecosystem insight who can combine strong sales execution with entrepreneurial impact.

What you'll do

• Create AI-agent based solutions either from the ground up or by connecting existing agents and foundational technologies, while working closely with Product Management and Business Development.
• Apply AI to deliver high-quality code quickly and build AI-first software for complex user stories that is scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
• Partner with stakeholders such as product and UX teams to turn ideas into end-to-end product innovation.
• Take ownership of the full delivery flow, including technical design, development, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Guide architecture discussions, review code, run retrospectives, and support the growth of other engineers.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled capabilities such as LLMs, RAG pipelines, agent workflows, embeddings, and deep learning tools to generate business value.

What we're looking for

• Practical experience building AI agents and embedding them into business processes.
• Strong awareness of current AI-assisted engineering tools, models, and trends, along with excellent prompting ability and hands-on use of Claude Code or Cursor.
• A solid background in production software delivery, ideally with AI components such as LLMs, embeddings, PyTorch/TensorFlow, RAG pipelines, or autonomous agents.
• A tool-agnostic mindset, choosing the right stack for the problem rather than forcing a preferred technology.
• High self-direction with the ability to collaborate effectively and escalate when needed.
• Confidence to challenge ideas constructively and participate in thoughtful technical and product discussions with colleagues, product owners, and the CTO.
• A respectful, humble, and collaborative approach while still working with strong autonomy.
• Residency within about 3 hours of Central European Time to support smooth collaboration.

Bonus experience

• Experience adding AI capabilities to SaaS workflows.
• Exposure to modern AI tooling such as agents, memory systems, and vector databases.
• Experience leading technical teams or designing solutions across the full stack, from frontend through infrastructure.
