Role overview
EY is hiring an Advanced Associate for its Assurance team in Noida. In this role, you will support global engagement teams by performing routine substantive and controls-based procedures from the GDS India office, primarily for clients based in the Americas and Europe.
This opportunity is suited to candidates who understand accounting and assurance fundamentals and want exposure to international accounting and assurance practices while working with cross-border teams.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver work to a consistently high standard, aligned with EY Global review methodology and the expectations of global engagement teams.
- Apply a working understanding of industry or sector context, including awareness of technical matters and assurance-related risks.
- Carry out and record review procedures as directed by engagement teams.
- Strengthen knowledge of risk management, including key business processes, client-specific regulations, and other risks relevant to the business.
- Identify accounting issues promptly, document the facts and observations clearly, and escalate them to the GDS Senior or Assistant Manager.
- Coordinate goals and responsibilities with the GDS Senior and global team members.
- Maintain regular communication with global engagement teams and build effective working relationships.
- Suggest process improvements by comparing the efficiency of review procedures across different clients.
- Contribute to a positive team culture through a steady, optimistic approach to work challenges.
- Uphold EY’s ethical and professional standards, including confidentiality of data.
- Build familiarity with EY technology and tools, while continuing to learn, share knowledge, and improve service delivery.

Eligibility and qualifications
- B.Com graduates with a basic understanding of accounting and assurance concepts
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in basic accounting
- French language proficiency at B1 level or above
- Basic working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
- Interest in business and commercial understanding
