About the internship
Internship Overview
This internship offers hands-on experience in researching and analyzing SEBI regulations and securities law. You will assist in various legal tasks related to securities market oversight and compliance including drafting legal documents and preparing detailed legal briefs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed research on SEBI regulations, circulars, enforcement orders, and related regulatory frameworks.
- Review and analyze judgments and rulings from SAT, High Courts, Supreme Court, NCLT/NCLAT, and other authoritative legal bodies.
- Support in drafting complaints, legal notices, representations, and official regulatory submissions.
- Create issue-wise legal summaries on key topics such as securities law, investor protection, disclosure norms, fund governance, intermediary duties, and detection of mis-selling.
- Examine investment documents, investor communications, legal agreements, offer documents, and disclosures for compliance verification.
- Monitor the latest SEBI orders and market regulatory developments and incorporate updates into ongoing work.
- Prepare structured briefings and concise legal reports for senior legal advisors, regulatory authorities, and internal strategic use.
Candidate Eligibility
Applicants should be available for a remote internship starting between August 2, 2026, and September 6, 2026, and able to commit to the full week duration. Candidates must have a sound understanding of SEBI guidelines, rules, and case law frameworks, particularly around CAT 1 and CAT 2 funds. Prior experience working in law firms dealing with SEBI matters is highly preferred.

Remuneration and Benefits
The monthly stipend ranges from INR 6,000 to 10,000. Additional perks include flexible working hours and a letter of recommendation upon successful completion of the internship.
