About the internship
Spacewood Furnishers Private Limited is inviting applications for a hands-on mechanical engineering internship at its manufacturing facilities in Nagpur. This role is based in a shop-floor environment where interns will work with CNC and VMC equipment used in woodworking and panel-processing operations. The setting includes advanced automated machinery, with a focus on precision, quality output, and safe manufacturing practices.
What you will do
- Run CNC and VMC machines according to production needs.
- Assist with machine setup under supervision and track how equipment is performing.
- Help ensure that output matches quality expectations.
- Carry out basic machine inspection and routine upkeep.
- Follow workplace safety rules and maintain shop-floor discipline.
- Record production data and machine operating details.

- Practical or basic knowledge of CNC and/or VMC machines is expected.
- Exposure to CNC/VMC machine operation is useful.
- Understanding of machine operations, tooling, and basic production processes is required.
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings is an advantage.
Compensation and internship details
The stipend is in the range of INR 16,500 to 20,500 per month. The stipend structure includes fixed pay of INR 13,500 to 16,500 per month and incentive pay of INR 3,000 to 4,000 per month. For B.Tech Mechanical candidates, the salary offered is INR 16,500 per month. For Diploma Engineer candidates, the salary offered is INR 13,500 to 15,500 per month.
The internship is for 1 month and starts immediately. There are 30 openings. The role is based in Hingna MIDC, MIHAN, and Butibori in Nagpur.
