About the Role
Join Gallagher as a Well-Being Consultant where you'll provide strategic guidance and partnership to employer organizations, helping them develop and implement comprehensive employee well-being initiatives. You will collaborate with leadership, HR teams, wellness committees, and internal stakeholders to foster a culture focused on health and engagement using evidence-based programs and ongoing consultations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead consulting efforts as the main well-being advisor for assigned employer groups.
- Conduct organizational assessments to pinpoint well-being priorities and opportunities.
- Create strategic well-being plans aligned with company objectives and guide their implementation.
- Facilitate wellness committee meetings and stakeholder discussions to support planning.
- Advise on employee wellness, engagement, resilience, culture, and preventive health strategies.
- Recommend and support execution of evidence-based workforce health programs and strategies.
- Coordinate educational programs, screenings, awareness campaigns, and engagement activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful program delivery.
- Develop communications to boost program participation and engagement.
- Maintain strong relationships with client leaders, wellness champions, and stakeholders.
- Provide expert guidance on available well-being services and best practices.
- Present workshops, orientations, and consultations to client groups and leadership.
- Track and analyze participation and health outcome data to inform improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports and strategic summaries for clients and wellness committees.
- Conduct educational sessions to promote resources, coaching, and preventive programs.
- Support client outreach and community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Health Education, Exercise Science, Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in employee well-being, health promotion, wellness consulting, or related areas.
- Proven skills in facilitating presentations, workshops, and strategic planning sessions.
- Experience managing multiple client relationships and projects concurrently.
- Strong knowledge of population health, behavior change, organizational culture, and employee engagement strategies.
- Excellent consultation, relationship building, data analysis, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting tools.
Preferred Credentials
- Experience with employer-based wellness programs, public sector, or health plan clients.
- Certifications in health education, wellness coaching, public health, or related disciplines.
- Familiarity with behavior change models and population health initiatives.
