Discovery Design is seeking a skilled Videographer / Photographer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting chance to work in the thriving sectors of web development and digital marketing, creating compelling visual media for diverse UK and international clients.

You will be responsible for planning, capturing, and editing striking photo and video content that enhances brand visibility across websites and marketing campaigns. The role demands a blend of creative vision and technical expertise to produce polished multimedia that engages audiences effectively.

Working closely with designers, developers, and marketing professionals, you will contribute to shaping memorable brand experiences. We equip you with professional tools including a Mac, camera kit, drone, and gimbal to help you deliver your best work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, capture, and edit high-quality photo and video content suited for client websites, marketing campaigns, and internal promotional efforts.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to establish creative concepts and visual direction.
• Conduct shoots both on location and in studio settings, ensuring consistency and brand adherence.
• Optimize edited content for web performance and targeted digital campaigns.
• Organize and manage media files maintaining a clear and accessible structure.
• Keep current with emerging trends in videography, photography, and digital media production.
• Ensure all visual materials comply with brand guidelines and meet project goals.
• Engage with clients to understand and realize their creative visions when necessary.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in videography and/or photography, preferably within an agency or corporate environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse photo and video projects across multiple industries and styles.
• Proficiency using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and similar editing tools.
• Deep understanding of lighting setup, composition principles, and camera operation techniques.
• Experienced in producing media content tailored specifically for digital platforms including websites and marketing campaigns.
• Excellent editing skills with a focus on storytelling and detail.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously while adhering to deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Extras

• Skills in motion graphics or animation using software like After Effects.
• Experience recording and editing drone footage.
