Overview
The Vice President - Operations position at ProVantage Corporate Solutions and InDemand Services, based in Raleigh, NC, requires an on-site leader responsible for nationwide operational oversight with approximately 20% travel within the US. Reporting to the President and managing multiple Directors, this role emphasizes integrating strategic execution with field-level operations to enhance gross margin and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and standardize operations across all 50 states ensuring consistent client experience.
- Develop and maintain operational rhythms including daily updates, weekly reviews measuring progress, and quarterly resource planning.
- Enhance coordination from bidding through scheduling to actual field execution with clear roles and quick escalation processes.
- Manage operational metrics such as gross margin, field leadership performance, customer feedback, back office team efficiency, future capacity planning, safety, quality, and training standards.
- Collaborate closely with bidding and execution planning teams to safeguard margins through accurate assumptions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Directors and additional field leadership personnel.
- Drive the adoption and consistent use of operational tools and processes to improve visibility, accountability, and reliability.

Qualifications
- Eight to ten-plus years in operations leadership within field-intensive sectors such as retail services, installations, construction-related fields, or staffing operations.
- Three to five-plus years managing leaders at a director level or similar in a geographically dispersed environment.
- Proven ability to enhance gross margin and improve customer satisfaction through disciplined operational management.
- Strong financial skills including experience with estimating, cost control, margin management, and accountability for variances.
- Responsible for enforcing safety, quality, and training protocols across a widely dispersed workforce.
- Must reside or be willing to relocate to Raleigh, NC, and be comfortable with approximately 20% travel nationwide.
Preferred Credentials
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) and/or project management certification.
- Experience implementing operational systems or enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions to enhance margin and reduce rework.
