About the Role

We seek a mid-level UX/UI Designer to contribute to designing a web application through a project-based contract. Collaborating closely with the development team, you will translate business needs and user expectations into modern, user-friendly, and responsive designs.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret project requirements, end-user needs, and business goals
Create user journey maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed visual designs
Design adaptable interfaces suitable for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
Develop reusable UI components and sustain a coherent design system
Enhance usability, accessibility, and overall experience for users
Communicate design ideas clearly and justify choices effectively
Partner with development teams during design implementation
Produce developer-friendly Figma documents, assets, and specifications
Evaluate implemented designs and offer constructive feedback

Skills and Experience

Proven background in UX/UI design for web applications or SaaS platforms
High proficiency in using Figma software
Solid knowledge of UI principles, user experience, and responsive design
Experience producing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and maintaining design systems
Capability to convert requirements into practical, user-centered designs
Strong focus on details and visual uniformity
Good communication and cooperation abilities
Self-driven with the ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Direct collaboration experience with software developers
Understanding front-end development limitations
Familiarity with accessibility and usability standards
Prior experience executing contract or project-based design roles

Contract Details

This is a project-based contract role with remote work flexibility
Initial compensation is a fixed price agreed for the project scope
Additional tasks beyond scope compensated at an agreed hourly rate
Role level is mid-level with potential for further project opportunities based on performance and availability
