About the Role

This opportunity involves working as a User Researcher within the United States for a partner company managing applications and hiring processes. The role centers on investigating user needs to design meaningful digital experiences by transforming research into actionable insights that guide product development.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute qualitative user research utilizing methods such as one-on-one interviews, group sessions, contextual inquiries, and usability testing.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to establish research goals, target demographics, essential questions, and assumptions for exploration.
Create detailed research plans, discussion guides, documentation, and related materials tailored to project objectives and constraints.
Analyze data to uncover patterns, themes, risks, opportunities, and actionable findings.
Integrate data from UX audits, accessibility checks, workflow and content assessments, surveys, and operational metrics into research conclusions.
Convert complex research outcomes into understandable recommendations that influence product strategy and prioritization.
Facilitate workshops and collaborative discussions with stakeholders to validate results and explore potential avenues.
Prepare comprehensive deliverables including reports, insight briefs, presentations, opportunity frameworks, and recommended next steps.
Present findings to client teams and aid leadership discussions through clear storytelling and evidence-based guidance.
Work closely with UX designers, product managers, project managers, and technical teams to incorporate research insights throughout product cycles.
Review and provide feedback on research materials and synthesis to support collaborative design processes.

Qualifications and Experience

Possess 5 to 8+ years of experience in UX research focused on digital products, platforms, or services.
Demonstrate strong qualitative research skills with independent planning and execution ability.
Display aptitude in translating complex, ambiguous information into clear insights and strategic advice.
Exhibit excellent facilitation capabilities, especially in remote and cross-functional team settings.
Possess strong communication skills, adept in preparing client-facing research documents and presentations.
Experience working collaboratively with UX designers, product managers, engineers, and other technical stakeholders.
Capable of navigating multifaceted environments with multiple stakeholders, shifting priorities, and evolving demands.
Familiarity with research and collaboration tools such as Figma, FigJam, Miro, Zoom facilitation software, Google Workspace, and research documentation platforms.
Experience in regulated sectors like public, education, nonprofit, or healthcare is advantageous.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive research methods preferred.
Demonstrated ability to support research initiatives across various project phases or long-term engagements is beneficial.
Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
