About the Role
We are looking to hire a seasoned US Payroll Specialist with comprehensive hands-on expertise in UKG Ready or UKG Pro platforms, alongside a solid background in NetSuite Projects including project accounting and billing processes. This position is onsite in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and requires full-time commitment.
Primary Responsibilities
The selected candidate will manage US payroll processing with multi-state payroll compliance, maintain employee payroll changes, and execute payroll reconciliations. Responsibilities also include payroll reporting, validation, and supporting project-based financial transactions in NetSuite.
Required Qualifications
- Direct practical experience with UKG Ready or UKG Pro payroll systems is essential.
- Strong background in processing US payroll operations, including multi-state payroll management.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state payroll tax laws and withholding requirements.
- Proficiency in conducting payroll reconciliations and validations to ensure accuracy.
- Experience managing employee records such as setup, payroll modifications, deductions, and reporting adjustments.
- Familiarity with annual tax forms such as W-2s and 1099s.
- Exposure to NetSuite Project functionalities such as accounting, billing, costing, and related project transactions.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Capability to work independently within a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Willingness to work full-time onsite.
Preferred Background
- Candidates with experience in US multinational companies, payroll outsourcing firms, or HR/payroll technology providers are especially welcome.
