Transportation Analyst

Overview

Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions division is currently seeking a remote Transportation Analyst based in New Albany, Ohio. This full-time role provides an opportunity to join a Fortune 500 company with diverse experiences and advancement prospects. The position reports Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with additional hours as necessary to meet business demands. The compensation range is $48,000 to $50,000 annually, paid twice monthly, according to experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Transportation Management processes including procurement, Freight Bill Audit & Payment, Shipment Planning, and Execution to meet client requirements.
• Monitor key performance indicators and perform root cause analysis using Transportation Management systems.
• Produce and distribute weekly and monthly performance metrics and customer reports.
• Engage with clients and internal subject matter experts to resolve issues and support implementations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing cost efficiency and service quality.
• Support account executive by analyzing transport network cost and service and proposing enhancements.
• Coordinate Transportation Management procurement activities to optimize cost/service balance.
• Prepare materials for client quarterly and monthly reviews.
• Perform additional related duties as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• College degree or technical certification in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of industry-related experience, including experience in freight flow and Transportation Management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and internet usage for business purposes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Customer service orientation with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Bilingual fluency in French and English is required for Quebec positions only.
