Job Summary

Join our innovative and friendly children's therapy team based in Southend, working mainly from the Lighthouse Child Development Centre and various community locations such as schools, nurseries, and patients' homes. This full-time position involves assisting qualified Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and senior therapy assistants in delivering therapy sessions and programmes under supervision.

Key Duties

• Manage a supported and supervised caseload of clients.
• Execute delegated tasks within treatment programmes, including monitoring and evaluating progress as per set criteria.
• Conduct therapy treatments individually or in groups as assigned.
• Document and report any significant changes in a patient’s condition or care pathway.
• Engage in skill-sharing opportunities and develop clinical competencies aligned with competency frameworks.
• Uphold the high clinical care standards set by Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT).
• Assist with daily administrative responsibilities and equipment procurement.
