Saudi Biotechnology Manufacturing Company (SAUDIBIO) is a leading Saudi Arabian joint stock biopharmaceutical company established in 2010. The company operates a versatile sterile fill and finish facility specializing in biopharmaceutical products and is recognized as a prominent insulin manufacturer within Saudi Arabia.
Job Location and Schedule
The role is based in Sudair Industrial City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Working days are from Sunday to Thursday, with working hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Job Role and Responsibilities
- Facilitate the planning, coordination, and implementation of Technology Transfer and New Product Introduction initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive project trackers, including action logs, timelines, risk assessments, dependencies, and readiness evaluations for assigned products.
- Act as liaison across various departments including Sending Unit, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Validation, Engineering, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs and external collaborators.
- Inspect Technology Transfer documentation critically, conduct gap analyses, and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Support the transfer process for manufacturing, assembly, inspection, packaging, and analytical testing to designated receiving sites.
- Assist in Change Controls, risk evaluations, deviations, CAPA procedures, qualification, process validation, and transfer of analytical methods.
- Contribute to engineering efforts, qualification and validation processes, as well as commercial batch executions with on-site technical support.
- Ensure all Technology Transfer activities comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), internal company policies, quality standards, and approved deadlines.
- Promote technical training, knowledge exchange, documentation of lessons learned, and foster continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology, or related scientific disciplines.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or similarly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Solid understanding of cGMP manufacturing processes and pharmaceutical quality management systems.
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing technical tasks through to completion.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing regulated technical documents.
- Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing shop-floor activities including qualification, validation, and batch processing.
- Proficient professional English communication skills, both verbal and written.
